On December 29, 1997, I flew around the Hawaiian island of Oahu in a Cessna 172 (N73752) rented from Eveland Aero Services (808/833-2113). Mike, an instructor from Eveland, came along since I was unfamiliar with the area and because Eveland was unfamiliar with me. In the back seat were Connie (my girlfriend) and her mother Edith.
